I enjoyed the pork sisig and the fried diket dessert. It's cool inside the building despite the hot weather. They have friendly staff and the customer service is great.

Overview: My wife wanted to try it here as she was looking for a unique dining experiences apart to restaurants by the beach. That's when we decided to try Kusina Kabakiran as we live in the area. Location/Ambience: I'm going to be honest, it's very far from the town proper but when we arrived we knew it was worth it. There are steep roads on the way here from the Candon diversion road and highly recommend using a vehicle to get here. The ambience is serene and peaceful, we were happy to know there is no cellular signal here to help get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Our son enjoyed the fact that there was so much grasshoppers and butterflies in the surrounding area of the restaurant. Food: We had around 8 people and my wife ordered Set A and Set B to share. It was more than enough and the food was delicious. The sisig, calamares and crispy bagis were the highlights. We also ordered Sinigang soup to match the rainy weather and ice cream and pritong patupat for dessert. Verdict: Although skeptical at first, our trip to this amazing restaurant hidden in the hills of Candon was worth the trip. The restaurant itself is must see for its architectural and artistic beauty. The food is great and the service was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this to any balikbayans or visitors in the Candon area.
